This year, during the 10 years the World Social Forum, theThousands of social movements, associations, unions, prepare the next World Social Forum to be held in Dakar from 6 to 11 February 2011, by organizing regional thematic forums around the world. These spaces for reflection and exchanges bring people together who think and propose alternatives to promote justice, peace, democracy and human rights worldwide.

The results of these thematic fora organized in 2010 will share a greater contribution of the social dynamics of the region to the contents of the World Social Forum in Dakar in February 2011, and secondly a greater mobilization of local and regional Civil society and social movements around the topics discussed.

As part of the dynamics of social forums (in preparation for the World Social Forum in Dakar), the Maghreb Social Forum will be held in Brussels December 18, 2010 about the situation of migrants both in Europe and North Africa, the policy outsourcing conducted by the European Union and the claim of ratification to the International Convention of Migrants adopted by the UN 20 years ago.
