The Euro-Moroccan network on Migration and Development is holding its 3rd meeting on 23-24 July 2010 in Larache. This session, in memory of late Mohamed Awad, cofounder of this network and founder of the FONORD (NGO Forum of NORTHERN Morocco organisations), follows the previous meetings, like last year, with the theme on "the consultation of civil society NGOs in Morocco on the Global Forum on Migration and Development", which took place on 27-28 July 2009 in Asilah.

The next meeting revolves around the following themes:

I-Global Forum on Migration and Development (GFMD): human rights, migration and development. Three years later, what assessment, monitoring and outlook for the 2010 edition?

II-Europe, Migration and Crises: what consequences for migrants?

III- In Morocco: What rights and citizenship for emigrants?

IV Migration and Development: State Place, Prospects and Perspectives.

In parallel to these workshops, a place of exchange and stands of organisations are expected.
