Migreurop - European network of activists and researchers - is organizing an international meeting in the framework of the campaign "For a right of access inside detention centres for migrants".
This meeting, which welcomes NGOs and migrants' associations, will held from 27 to 29 May 2010 in Istanbul, Turkey.

On the meeting agenda will be tackled the issues and consequences of readmission agreements, the situation in camps for foreigners in the EU and along its external borders and the role of Frontex. A large space will be given to discussions on actions and claims of associations, their achievements and possibilities of intervention.

This announcement is relayed by eunomad to establish links between action on the migration-development relationship and those concerning the rights of migrants.
