Eunomad meets the Polish Presidency of the EU and hands its policy Memorandum

On the 3^rd and 4^th October 2011 Eunomad hold its Board meeting in Warsaw, Poland. The event was also an opportunity for Eunomad to contact and meet with representatives of the Polish government, Poland being President of the European Union Council from July to December 2011.

While the Global Approach on Migration (GAM) is currently being reviewed, Eunomad found appropriate to meet members of the Polish Presidency to discuss about European policy on migration and to hand over a memorandum.

Eunomad policy Memorandum highlights the fact that migration policy is mostly focused on the management of migration flows when it should take more into account the human, social and cultural migration. Several other points are discussed concerning in particular the integration of migrants, labor mobility, brain drain or co-development.
