INDE (Intercooperação e Desenvolvimento) is the organisation responsible for the implementation of the national platform.

On the 1st March 2010, Inde organized, at the Ismaili Centre in Lisboa, a meeting wich brought together 23 Portguese organisations (NGOs, Migrants associations, Research Institutes and Public Institutions) which work or would like to work on the link between Migration and Development.

The Portugal Platform considers capitalising Migration and Development practices implemented by their members. They also want to reaffirm the positif role of Migrants and their organisations in the development process here and there.
